Hello everyone! My Husband is selling our Extremely rare 1962 Mercedes 0319 bus “executive coach” which is 1 of 11. $9700 OBO (located FL, USA)
We collect old vehicles and are swamped with other projects so we are letting this one go to a new home
He does not have a Facebook so i am posting for him
1 of 11 Mercedes 0319 buses to be converted into motorhomes at the studebaker company and sold into the US market. The buses themselves were widely used for public transport in Europe and some parts are still offered new today as well from across the pond.
This bus features a pull out bed as well as bunk bed, single burner stove, refrigerator, sink, original Onan generator, multiple air conitioners huge original roof rack with of cover and an incinerator toilet coined the destroilet.
The bus is about 95% complete. Motor turns over and is said to be rebuilt. The interior with all of the super rare (1 of 11) “executive coach” features is all there and in decent restorable shape. The exterior is in pretty rough shape and will require extensive rust repair but again some panels are available and it shares the same body with the more common 0319 passenger bus.
Fully restored the 0319 buses have fetched huge money at auctions one in particular sold last year for over 160000. This bus could be worth some serious money one day and is a truly unique piece compared to the Volkswagen Buses you’ll find at the same price point. Dont miss out.
Delivery (in United States) may be available locally and I will help with shipping arrangements necessary as well.
