This 1974 HQ XX7 Sandman Panel van had a full off the chassis bare metal respray, the color is Azure Blue the factory original color as per the I.D tag. Every nut and bolt are new or reconditioned and all parts are new or has been reconditioned. Restored back to near original specifications; but had to add a bit of my own touch. A dressed up engine bay and assorted chrome finishes. The rear of the van has a full length head lining, mattress and embossed Sandman side panels. This van screams the 70’s… It looks and feels the part.
It has been featured in Australian Muscle Car magazine and Just Holden’s magazine where it took its glory on the front cover.
It took out the Top 5 trophy award at the 2016 Redcliffe Show & Shine (Northern District Rodders), 2nd place at the 2016 Queensland Hot Rod Show in the Street Machine Class “Wagon / Van”
