Heads up on our truck Olive.

As many on here will know, Olive has been awesome for our adventures and there’s nothing that needs to be done apart from jump in and go.

On that note we still have a couple of plans that involves using Olive and she will become available after those trips…mid to end of October.

We’re in Spalding, Lincolnshire but do visit my Son in Crawley so potential viewings at either location could be arranged.

A brief description of what Olive has. I’m bound to forget things so any questions ask.

Mercedes 814 with 139930 KILOMETRES… low mileage…. Approx 87,000 miles.

Motor Caravan on V5.
Speed limiter raised to maximum speed of tyre rating and remapped…. Transformation in driving comfort and better economy.
400watts of solar (I think)… 2x big panels, fantastic for off grid. Victron charge controller with Bluetooth.
VSR split charge relay system.
Large battery bank, I think 4×180 ah batteries.
I have all receipts and paperwork for everything.
Powerful and good quality inverter. I will get pictures.
65litre underslung lpg gas tank.
(Separate internal gas tank if needed due to lack of LPG filling stations.)
175 litre onboard water tank.
Full size shower with tankless hot water system for shower and hot water supply.
Massive amounts of storage space, wardrobe, under seating etc.
Full size lpg gas cooker.
Huge D5 diesel heater that I had refurbished, working fantastically, heats truck in less than 10 minutes.
Separate Traumatic gas fire… keeps you warm all night and day.
Fantastic Dometic 140 litre compressor fridge/freezer bought last year (September) about £1100? Receipt available.
I had the heavy duty tow bar fabricated by a local engineering company.
That was to carry my motorbike on the back using the Easy-lifter carrier. That is NOT included in this listing but may sell separately if I decide not to keep it.
New front tyres to comply with recent law change.
All 4 rear tyres are in good condition.

The bodywork is in excellent condition and the truck was built on just a Chassis cab so virtually all non rusty metal on this Vario!!
Underneath is immaculate.
I wanted the truck looking gorgeous so I had my good friend do a complete respray. I done all the preparations and photos taken of EVERYTHING before and after.
There is nothing to concern about bodywork or engine wise.👍🏻👍🏻
The previous owner had spent a lot of money on brakes and are therefore fantastic.
Reliability has been as expected and as widely known these are bombproof engines and gearboxes.
The only failure was the starter motor whilst in Scotland…I replaced with a brand new Bosch Starter… receipt available.

Starts instantly… no smoke at all.
Has a stainless steel exhaust box (filter).
Recent MOT showed 0.00 on emissions test.
He had to wiggle the testing probe to get it to register something!!
This is a solid truck with everything ready to go off and live off grid.
I’ve probably forgotten lots of bits but if you want any more information just ask.

I valued Olive at £22,000 on last insurance valuation before I added the fridge and the towbar £1600+.
I believe this truck is worth around £30k in today’s market however what it achieves is down to what someone else is happy to pay.
This is like a little studio flat on wheels… a sanctuary to escape in and she’s gorgeous.
