Time to sell my old van. VW Transporter 5.1, T32, Highline, 140bhp, 4Motion 109K miles
This would make a great van for someone and perfect for camper conversion coming with the extras already in place. It has served me well for approx. nine years of private light weight use.
Well looked after with significant money spent on it recently.
New turbo and all oil feed return piping, new brake discs and pads all round and a new clutch all less than 200 miles ago. I don’t like selling things that aren’t how I’d want them or result in come-back so I’m confident that it’s as good as can be. It’s currently sitting on winter tyres but there are a set of nearly new standard tyres in the back ready for winter to pass.
Usual highline spec with valuable extras.
Standard Spec
6 speed manual gearbox
Cruise control
Electric front windows
Air con
Front fog lights
Heated and folding mirrors
Extras
Factory electronic dif lock
Factory heated seats
Factory fitted towbar
Rear and front side windows
Fiamma F45 wind out awning
Ebersparcher night heater
Folding front twin seat with better upright recline angle.
Factory fitted towbar
Rear view camera
The bodywork is solid but has some small areas of surface rust that could be doing with a little tidying. These are mainly beside the fuel cap door and there’s scratches on the drivers door (not through the uncoat or rusting) where a slate came off the house roof a year to two ago.
Looking for offers around £10K. This is around £6K under anything equivalent on autotrader but it’s not due my anything.
No takers and it’ll go on ebay soon.
