If you have a camper van and want somewhere to mount a solar panel then check out this idea on a VW T4 camper. Mounting the solar panel to the pop-top roof is easy as these roofs are often made from plastic. Simply stick or glue or even bolt the panel to the roof and you can then aim the solar panel at the sun depending on which way you park. Park facing the East for the early morning sun or facing the West so that you get the evening sun. The sun is more powerful during the daytime so closing the pop top around lunch would also be beneficial but, isn’t necessary.
